'Internet of Things' Integration

Quarries can utilise Internet of Things (IoT) technologies to improve the efficiency, safety, and productivity of quarry operations. IoT connects physical assets (like vehicles, machines, sensors, and environmental monitors) to the internet, enabling real-time data collection, monitoring, and control.

Initi8 is able to assess your requirements and provide an integrated solution that can be scaled for future needs and across multiple sites.

01

Air

Initi8 can supply, install and configure IoT weather stations.

In addition, it can deploy Air Quality Sensors that measure PM1, PM2.5 and PM10 sized particles in the air. These can be deployed in a variety of ways, including portable options.

02

Water

IoT sensors can be used to monitor water quality in water storage or sediment dams to provides real-time, continuous data to provide early warning before a compliance event occurs.

Parameters that can be measured include pH level, Dissolved Oxygen, Turbidity, Temperature and Conductivity

Remote Sensor Integration

IoT sensors can be connected to the internet by a variety of means .

Wi-Fi and Ethernet for local networks, cellular networks (like 4G or 5G) for mobile connectivity, and specialized Low-Power Wide-Area Networks (LPWANs) like LoRaWAN for long-range, low-power applications.

Dashboards are available for quick integration, or custom dashboards can be developed that are compatible with the IT infrastructure of your organisation.
